Nut butter fans, rejoice! This easy almond butter recipe takes your snack time to the next level. Enjoy paired with an Original Equinox Kombucha for a healthy burst of energy!
Almond nut butter platter
To make your own almond butter
Ingredients:
For the almond butter
- 400g almonds
For the platter:
- Celery
- Red, yellow and orange peppers
- Medjool dates
- Carrots
- Grapes
- Almonds
- Chunks of dark chocolate or chocolate buttons
- Apples
Method
Pre-heat the oven to 160°C.
Spread the almonds evenly across a large baking tray. Toast in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove and leave to cool completely.
Add the toasted almonds to a food processor and pulse to start with, then blend for between 10 to 15 minutes, until you reach the desired consistency of almond butter.
Store in large an airtight jar and use within 2-3 weeks.
To serve with your almond butter
Slice & prepare the fruit and vegetables for your platter. Add the almond nut butter to a dipping bowl and serve.
